How to fix the issue where a black screen appears after recording in a Windows XP environment
This issue occurs because the program you are trying to record is using an overlay mixer.
The easiest way to resolve it is as follows.
Right-click on the desktop and click Properties.
Display properties will open; click the Settings tab.
Click the Advanced button.
Click the Troubleshooting tab.
As shown below, the hardware acceleration is set to maximum. Set it to None.
After setting it as shown, click OK, close the program you want to record, and try recording again.

How to set recording quality during recording (from high quality to low quality)
Note: This setting does not apply to external codecs. It applies only to oCamโs built-in codec.
Lowering the recording quality will reduce the size of the recorded video file, but the image quality will also become worse.
There is a menu at the top of oCam. Click Tools - Options, then click Encoding on the left, and you can select the video quality as shown below.
By default, it is set to Very High (high quality).
During recording, the video quality can be selected using the following levels.
